A Little Bit About Us
Hi everyone! Our names are Helen and Brad and we are the faces behind Bell Tents Whitsundays. Helen, originally from the UK moved to the Whitsundays from Mackay in 2020 and Brad, originally from Adelaide moved to the area in 2018. We fell in love with the turquoise waters and stunning landscapes in the area and in our free time we enjoy going on island adventures, kayaking and bush walking.
Before Bell Tents Whitsundays was born, Helen was working as a Research Diver on the Southern Great Barrier Reef on the Crown of Thorns Control program. Brad was running his own media business Colours and Clouds Media, creating video content for local events and businesses.
We started this business as we are very passionate about camping and creating unique experiences for locals and visitors here in the Whitsundays.
We love setting up bell tents in idyllic locations, where people can reconnect with nature whilst camping in style. We put our heart and soul in to every setup and go above and beyond for our guests down to the finest detail. All you have to do is turn up and you’re guaranteed to have a great time! We have been operating for a short time but the memories we aim to instill in each guest will last a lifetime. We also support other businesses by supplying locally made products in the tent setups.
